دانشمند ترین مردم کسی است که علم و دانش دیگران را بر دانش خود بیفزاید

He is most free from want who is not greedy

کسی که دچار حرص و طمع نیست از همه بی نیاز تر است

There is less peace of mind for a parsimonious person than anyone else

کسی که بخیل و چشم تنگ است آسایش او از همه کمتر است

The pleasures of a jealous person is less than that of anyone else

حسود از همه کمتر لذت می برد

Honesty increases livelihood and treachery leads to poverty

امانتداری روزی را زیاد می کند و خیانت باعث تنگدستی می شود

Faith has two sides: one is patience and the other in thanksgiving
